Bookkeeping & Business Finance Support
Practical support for small businesses with everyday records, reconciliations, cash-flow tools and internal reporting. Availability is confirmed after scope and eligibility checks.
Service scope
Clear support. Defined responsibilities.
Support draws on an Accounting and Finance degree and practical experience in data analysis, reconciliation, reporting and business systems. AZAS MGT does not provide chartered accountancy services.
- Bookkeeping is limited to maintaining basic records and reconciliations. Accounting policies, tax treatment and judgement-based adjustments remain with the business owner and their appointed accountant.
- Budgets, cash-flow tools and financial summaries are for internal use, based on client-approved inputs. They are not certified accounts, assurance, or reports for banks, investors or other third parties to rely on.
- The service excludes statutory or year-end accounts preparation or sign-off, tax advice or returns, VAT and payroll submissions, statutory audit, independent assurance, insolvency work and regulated investment or financial-product advice.
Before work begins: Before accepting paid work, AZAS MGT will confirm the permitted scope, applicable professional-body restrictions and any required anti-money-laundering supervision. An enquiry does not confirm service availability.
The business problem
You need a clear view of money coming in, bills due and day-to-day costs without building an in-house finance team.
Receipts, invoices and payment records are scattered, making routine bookkeeping harder to maintain.
Bank and supplier balances do not match the records, leaving differences unresolved.
Sales look healthy, but upcoming payments and the cost of delivering work are difficult to see.
AZAS / FinanceWhat recognised practice involves
Structure before activity.
- 1
Keep source documents and a consistent record of income, expenses and payments.
- 2
Reconcile balances and record unresolved differences instead of treating assumptions as facts.
- 3
Separate actual results from forecasts and use assumptions approved by the business owner.
- 4
Keep internal planning outputs separate from statutory accounts, tax work and reports for lenders or other third parties.
